Concert with Gahô Takahashi (koto) 7 month later after our last concert in Brussels.

Gaho lives in Paris and we played together several times in Belgium and France. It was her concert in Tokyo during her stays in Japan. She plays also with Wacha who is a voice percussion player. We all met in Japan Expon in Paris.

It was my dream to give a "café live" like many Japanese wants to give a "salon" concert in real salon in Europe which I have given often. So, my dreams come true 😀

With Gaho, we had a lot of good moment together and we had a same purpose that we want to spread our instruments in foreign countries.

In Japan a lot of Japanese instrument musicians play non-classical (japanese) music. They plays divers music with their instruments to have fun their self (I suppose) and also to attract people who were not anymore interested in the traditional music.

I sincerely love the traditional music and but at the same time I also like to discover other worlds than classical music. Since I am classical musician, I like to develop contemporary music with Japanese instruments of course, but I also like to share with non-classical musicians (it's depends who of course..) because they have some different points of view than classical musicians.

Wacha is a voice percussion player. He has his own style and make "Japanese voice percussion". He plays with Gaho too. He perform often alone with his loop machine which is very nice. I wish I could have for my solo performance! His music is quite beautiful. You can see on his website :-)

Since I came back to Japan, I haven’t played in concerts regularly. Finally I will start my activities again because I’m getting used to the life in Japan. I hope I see many interesting people and music :-)
