Amsterdam visit

I was in Amsterdam last week-end to see a flutist Harrie Starreveld, great flutist & also professor of The Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He has played the Shakuhachi (I think) for 10 years and that's why we met. This time it was just for filming but hope to play something together in the near future.

He has played a lots of contemporary works in his life but with European flute. The scores that he show me were too complicated but exciting. It made me want to play also new works on the normal flute. For the moment, my project is collaborate with composers to make new works for shinobue...

The Amsterdam station is so modern and I could believe being in Japan. The landscape from the platform remind me the landscape from one of stations in Yokohama. The landscape with the hover & the ships always makes me happy.
